EcoSport offers a technology that HR‑V doesn’t: BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert:*

  • Monitors both sides of the vehicle for vehicles detected in blind spots
  • Cross-Traffic Alert warns the driver of traffic detected from the sides when
  • backing out of a parking space
  • The LaneWatch System monitors only one side and does not offer the benefit of cross-traffic alert

Honda claims that drivers can see more of their surroundings courtesy of its LaneWatch System that:

  • Uses a passenger side exterior mirror-mounted camera
  • Displays only passenger-side traffic in the Display Audio screen

Connectivity

EcoSport offers SYNC 3(3) that can stream music and access apps. PLUS, EcoSport offers features not available on HR-V including:

  • FordPass Connect* that can be used to schedule service appointments at participating dealers, and start the vehicle and lock and unlock the doors; with HondaLink you can’t lock, unlock or start the vehicle
  • Wi-Fi technology* that can connect up to 10 devices at one time

Honda describes its HondaLink in HR-V as a way to seamlessly connect mobile devices and:

  • Stream music
  • Access social media
  • Schedule service appointments

EcoSport matches the HR-V with heated front seats* and a leather-wrapped steering wheel*. PLUS, EcoSport also offers convenience features not found on HR‑V including:

  • Rain-sensing windshield wipers*
  • Windshield wiper de‑icer*
  • Reverse Sensing System*
  • SecuriCode invisible keypad*

According to Honda, the HR‑V offers convenience features that drivers will appreciate every day such as:

  • Heated front seats
  • Touchscreen climate controls
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
